The Cutest Yawn Ever!

April 28, 2012 - So we had another ultrasound this week and we have some more adorable pictures and a video to share! Oh and we had the tech double check to make sure she is still a girl and she is! You know what that means...next project will be painting the baby's room! YAY! That will be so fun...well probably more fun for me than for Justin. :-)

Here are a few pictures.

Look at her little legs - She looks comfy in there!
What a cute profile

Here is the most adorable video I have ever seen. Watch closely and you will see our little girl yawn. I played it over and over again. You can even see her stretch her arms. How absolutely adorable. I love it!

Overall though the baby looks to be healthy. My placenta has not moved, so I am still on a weight restriction. We have our regular appointment next week Tuesday, so we will know more then. I have the attitude that whatever is meant to be will be, but please say your prayers that it moves.

The cool thing about all of this is that we will have to have another ultrasound! It is really fun watching her grow in there. It is amazing how much her little legs have grown.

We cannot wait to meet our little girl!

Baby Girl is Moving Around - 22 Weeks

April 19, 2012 - The past week has been very good. I am feeling great, although I have been feeling more tired lately. We are at 22 weeks and I can proudly say that I am starting to show more and more every day. I love looking down at my belly and seeing it get bigger knowing that a little miracle is growing in there.

22 Weeks
My mom and I went shopping last weekend and I bought some of my first maternity clothes. I found some nice jeans that I like so that makes me happy! Dress clothes for work were pretty easy to find. I am also very thankful for having such wonderful friends who have borrowed me some of their clothes and even went out and bought me maternity shirts they found while shopping. Thank you so much Ali and Morgan. I am so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life! I know I will be coming to you a lot in the future asking for your advice.

The baby's movement has been much more noticeable. I can feel her moving every day...actually I can feel her moving around right now as I type. I think she is trying to tell everyone HELLO! The other day in a meeting I glanced down at my belly and saw it move when she kicked. That was so neat to see. This really is such an amazing feeling.

Overall though I have been feeling good. I am starting to have some round ligament pain as the baby grows. It is not too bad though. It comes and goes. I feel like my personality has been a little sassy lately...I am sure Justin could comment on this better! It is all in good fun and I think it is hilarious. I make myself laugh every day.

I just want to end by saying that I am so thankful that I am having such a wonderful pregnancy so far. I pray that it continues for the next 18 weeks.

21 Weeks

April 9, 2012 - It has been a couple weeks since our last post. We are at 21 weeks now! Over half way through. Amazing how fast, but yet how slow the time seems to go by.

21 Weeks
Not a lot has changed over the past couple weeks. We had our 20 week appointment last week. It was the shortest appointment that we have been to so far. The doctor said that everything is looking good. We go back for another ultrasound on April 24 to check the placement of my placenta, so we are hoping that looks better.

This week I have noticed that my belly has started to look more pregnant (as you can tell from the picture for this week)! My clothes are finally to the point where I am unable to button them. My pants still fit me, but I cannot button the waistband, so technically they don't fit me! My friend Ali borrowed me her belly band which has worked awesomely and allows me to get some more use out of my regular clothes. Yesterday was the first day I put on a pair of maternity pants! It felt good especially after all the food I ate yesterday for Easter.

Overall I am feeling pretty good. This morning I had insomnia and laid in bed from 3:30 am - 5:30 am wishing I could fall back asleep, but that didn't happen. So I got up! Justin woke up then too and said "well I guess we should get use to getting up this early anyways." In a few more months we won't be getting 8 hours of sleep a night I am guessing. :-)

I don't think pregnancy brain has kicked in yet (Justin seems to think it has though!), but yesterday I almost lost phone. I thought I lost it somewhere and could not find it. I thought for sure it was going to be in some random place like the fridge and Justin would find that hilarious, but it was in the garage on the floor. Thank goodness for the find my iPhone app. That worked awesomely. I am sure we will use that app again soon!

I will end on this note...we picked out colors for the nursery - Sherwin Williams colors Shagreen, Lotus Flower, Muslin and Pottery Urn - We like this pattern from Sherwin Williams as well. We will do three walls green with the stripes on one wall similar to the photo on the left.
